Description of the GSM/GPS communication module Vecom
The Vecom is a communication device which transfers alarm and additional information about the protected vehicle or building to its user either in voice or sms message. It includes 2 independent alarm information inputs and 2 independent status information inputs. It enables 4 remote controlled independent outputs.
The Vecom in its standard form allows you to find out the orientational position of the vehicle by means of the GSM network. For a higher level of accuracy it is possible to equip the device with a module for additional GPS satelite position determining. The Vecom is based on the industrial GSM module Siemens MC45, which is resistant to shock, humidity, dust and temperature changes. Its range is not limited, it only depends on the area with GSM/GPS signal of a particular GSM network provider (practically the whole worl while using roaming).
The user is informed about the unauthorized vehicle or building violation in time and he has a chance to do something to prevent it. It is a quite universal product so we can prepare also other functional modifications.
