How good is the Disc-Lock Safety Wheel Nut?

In 1991 Disc-Lock International commissioned SPS Technologies in Pennsylvania USA to carry out a comparison test (Junkers Test) of the Disc-Lock Safety Wheel Nut with a conventional wheel nut, the type which is fitted on commercial vehicles and buses today. The graph below shows that the Disc-Lock Safety Wheel Nut remained secure under the most severe vibration conditions, while the conventional wheel nut came completely loose.
