View product FAQ After many requests to stop the ever increasing theft of diesel, Uniweld Engineering researched how best to engineer a product that stops syphoning but still allows re-fuelling. Following many prototype designs the HGV Anti-Syph was developed and has since be used by many transport companies with great success.

One of the challenges was to incorporate into the design a way to use the existing cap of the fuel tank, this was achieved as the device is basically an extension of the tank neck, sitting over the existing neck the device is bonded using a robust sealant.

HGV Anti-Syph makes life very hard to siphon fuel but will not stop refuelling, you can specify refuelling speeds of 90 litres per minute or 120 litres per minute.

HGV Anti-Syph is also an anti-vandalism device, items such as paper are near on impossible to be pushed down into the fuel tank, saving time of removing tanks to clear the system, the financial cost of the work undertaken and the vehicle being off the road.

HGV Anti-Syph is easy to fit, a competent fitter can fit the device without any major disruption to the vehicles use.
